We met in Seattle in 2015, and like any good story, it wasn’t exactly love at first sight, at least not right away. After a few missed chances, life brought us back together at the right moment, and this time, it clicked.

Over the years, we’ve built our relationship across distance, shared adventures, and many trips between Washington and Kansas. Through travel, time with friends, too much good food, and countless everyday moments, we’ve learned that the best part of any journey is who you share it with. What began as a chance meeting has grown into a partnership full of love, laughter, and deep friendship.

Now, as we celebrate this chapter of our lives together, we’re so happy to gather with the people who mean the most to us. We hope you’ll join us in Kirkland on July 25th.

About Our Journey

The Venue

Heritage Hall & Centennial Gardens

We’re celebrating at Heritage Hall & Centennial Gardens in Kirkland, Washington—a beautiful venue that brings together historic charm, garden views, and a relaxed atmosphere for an afternoon with family and friends.

Set within Heritage Park, the venue offers lovely views of the surrounding greenery, city, and lakefront. Heritage Hall, originally designed in the 1920s and inspired by Greek Revival architecture, has been carefully restored and retains many of its original details, including fir floors, elegant millwork, and a bright, welcoming interior. Just outside, the gardens and open lawn provide a peaceful setting to gather, wander, and enjoy the afternoon.

We chose this space because it feels both special and easygoing—perfect for the kind of celebration we wanted: warm, informal, and centered on spending time with the people we love.

A few details for the day:

  • Dress code: Summer festive

  • Food & drinks: Heavy appetizers (dinner-style). We’ll be serving enough hearty small plates to make a full meal—no plated dinner.

  • Parking: Street parking is available around the venue

We’re so looking forward to celebrating with you and would love your RSVP by June 1, 2026 so we can plan accordingly. Your presence is truly the most important gift to us. For those who would like to contribute, we’ve included a registry link on the website, but most of all, we simply hope you can join us. If you’re traveling in for the celebration, we’d also be happy to help with recommendations for accommodations and local planning.
